KewL DooD's owner played many many many computer RPGs and adventure games back in the day, like King's Quest series (and several other sierra seriesesesses), as well as several Zorks, and three or four of the Ultima series before online came around.....

KewL DooD is a reaction to all those "KewL" characters we know and love/hate in Ultima Online.  Let's just say that this game did not wind up being what I thought it would be, after reading the glitzy promos and such.

KewL DooD is not to be taken seriously, he is a stereotype, an anachronism, yea, even an AVATAR of KewLDooDery, if you will.

Laugh at him

Mock him

Curse him if you must

But don't kill him.

Above all, Pity him.

and pity us all, for KewL DooD is the future that awaits us all!  I think Britannia is a good indicator of what we can expect from all the "virtual communities" that will come to pass....<<insert ominous music here>>
