The one that started it all. I used a demo version of some program called "Acid" that had something like 4 tracks you could record on. I ran my amp's line out into my PC's line in, and it sounded pretty good! I had to record the vocals with this crappy little mike that came with a webcam. It left much to be desired.

This was the second, and the most UO-ey UO Rap of all. Everyone who ever mined in the early days can relate to this. I had a better microphone this time. But unfortunately not a better voice. I actually had some guy planning to do an independent film ask if he could use it, but I don't think anything ever came of it... This was the first time I used actual UO sounds as the drum elements in the song. They always sounded better when I did that, but it was a massive pain in the ass to do.

I am a little fuzzy on the order these next three came out. Monsters and Spells is probably my favorite, from a musical standpoint. The mix came out pretty good. I used robot voices, so I did not have to impose my Gomer Pyle-esque voice on everyone.

Another one I really liked, but the mix was pretty muddy. It had my favorite groove/solo I have done in these raps. I am pretty sure all the drums/percussion in this one are UO sounds. It's still all about the town pimps. Some things are eternal.

I think this was my second-to-last one here. UO was a dead wasteland by this point, and I was feeling melancholic. But I actually rapped on this one, with plenty of distortion all arround. Does anyone else remember who G'Thunk was?

This was my last UO Rap, not too long before I pretty much quit. Not my best effort, but, like UO, I was pretty tired by then. I say "pretty much quit" because nostalgia gets the better of me ever few years, and I find myself resubscribing, and walking around in a ghost of what was.
But, at least this one has lots of chicken noises.
Catch you on the flipside, in the land of the gray.
